This week we felt some of the strongest earthquakes in California since the Loma Prieta earthquake on Oct. 17th 1985! The earthquakes were located in Ridgecrest at a measured magnitude of 7.1. Damages from the tremors were limited to the rural town of Ridgecrest, but even in a typical low density residence, damages can still be very serious.
